July 20, 2006 - Tonight Daddy was supposed to have a softball game but the park didn't have power so it was cancelled. Instead we went out to dinner with some friends. I am labeling them as "friends" because they don't want to be identified due to the story I am about to tell you. I am going to change their names to protect the somewhat innocent. However, you may figure it out. (Hint: Look at my pictures).
We went to St. Louis Mills mall to have dinner and shop a little. We went in the Harrison's vehicle. Mr. "Henry" let us out at the door so we could put our name in at the restaurant. We had the stroller so Mommy and Daddy wouldn't have to carry me all around the mall. After dinner they got ice cream. While eating ice cream "Henry" noticed he didn't know where the vehicle's keys were. The last thing he remembers is giving them to his one-year-old daughter to play with. One reason "Henry" wanted to be unidentified is that he recently just lost a whole set of keys that were never found and he is normally not like this. They looked all over. They went back into the restaurant; they talked to the police, they checked to see if the van was stolen, they combed the mall. The next step was to call someone to get us and deal with it later. By this time, it was time for ME to eat. Mommy was feeding me in my stroller while Ms. "Danielle" and their daughter, "Megan", sat by us. Mommy jokingly asked "Megan" where she put the keys. "Megan" reached out toward my stroller. Ms. "Danielle" and Mommy were joking about maybe the keys were actually in the stroller. Mommy stuck her hand down between my car seat and the stroller and pulled out the keys!!! "Megan" must have known where she put them and was trying to communicate to Mommy where they were or it was just luck. At any case, the keys were found.
