Yesterday was Father's Day. Mom said I needed to be nice to Dad. Of course, I am always nice. We went to church and I gave Daddy the card I picked out. It had a button on it which is why I liked it. It said something about being the boss, or something like that. All I know is that Mommy was making him tell everyone about it. I guess it is because we all know who is the boss around here: me. Except they keep telling me I am not so maybe really it is Mommy.
Last night we went Putt Putt golfing. I had no idea what that is or what that means. But I got to hit a ball so I thought that was fun. On the first one, Daddy helped me and my ball went into the hole on the first hit.

My Wednesday
We started the day at a movie. It was early to go the movies. Daddy got to come with us because he had been working a lot lately. The movie was Curious George. I was a little concerned we were going to get in trouble because I didn't see Mommy or Daddy pay for the tickets. (SHHHH, don't tell anyone!!)
Then we saw some animals. Not the zoo but still some animals. (These animals didn't move.)
After that, we had lunch, dropped Daddy off so he could work and Mommy and I went home. I took a nap. When I woke up Mommy took me to the library and then to church. We were helping Ms. Tammi.
I found a frog on the playground. I wouldn't touch it. But at least it was an alive animal.
Me after "helping" Ms. Tammi. I had lots of fun.
The night ended with a bath. What a day!!

My Big Boy Room
I moved into my "Big Boy Room" a few months ago but I hadn't put pictures up on my new blog so I thought I would. I love my new room. It is all about sports.
My Book/Game shelf
My window.
Behind the door. Notice my dinosaur. I like to scare people with it.
My bed with Doggy and Elmo.
Light switch
Cardinal picture thing. Why is my clothes in there?
And of course an ILLINI one.
My name.
A scoreboard. It is also my birthday.
That is me. No really it is. I had to stand there while Grandma Donoho traced me.
My closet doors. They are lockers.
You need to all come see it sometime.

Veggie Tales - Mommy Post
Josiah loves Veggie Tales. Every time we go to the library he get a new Veggie Tales video. We have a lot of them but he can always find one we don't have. Today we were looking at Veggie Tales videos on You Tube. We came across this one:
The conversation went like this:
Alison: Isn't this funny, he doesn't have a belly button.
Josiah: That guy? (pointing to the screen)
A: Yeah, that guy
J: And Larry?
A: Yeah Larry doesn't have a belly button
J: And Bob the Tomato?
A:Yeah Bob doesn't have a belly button.
J:And ajlknlhoe fingers?
A: No they don't have fingers?
J: No, does uniour aperagus?
A: Oh, Junior Asparagus. No he doesn't have a belly button. Do you have one?
J: Yep, do you? (lifts up my shirt) You have a big one. ("big one" was drawn out to make it seem my belly button is as big as Bob the Tomato. It is clearly not!!)
His favorite part is whent the doctor raps.

Where is my piggy??
As I said Daddy was in Mississippi this week. He is helping build houses. We did a lot of fun things while he was gone. On Monday mommy got a picture from Daddy and he had my pig!! It is okay because I have lots of pigs. I am glad the pig could keep him company. And he promises to bring it home with him.
Here are some of the adventures my pig had:
In the bedroom Daddy slept in. I hope piggy didn't fall off.
Where Daddy was working. He looks like Bob the Builder.
With the whole crew.
Be careful, Piggy. You are supposed to be on the top of the ladder.

The Circus
Daddy is gone for the week. He went to Mississippi. (Yes I can pronounce it!!) Grandma Frazee is here with Mommy. They took me to the circus. I wanted to see the Elephants, Zebras, Dogs and Lions. Mommy kept telling me she wasn't sure if they had all those animals.
I did see some Elephants, Dogs, Tigers and Clowns. I wanted to stay far away from those Clowns. I don't trust anyone with all that make up on. We got see lots of cool things then all of the sudden Mommy and Grandma were picking everything up including me and running to the car. When we got to the car it started to rain. Then it started to really rain. We got out of there just in time.

Mommy Post
Mommy said she would like to write something on my blog. Doesn't she have her own? Well Daddy is gone this week and he told me to do what Mommy says so I guess I should let her write.
Hello this is Alison or Josiah's mommy. I will occasionally write in here because there are just so many times that Josiah's amazes me. I figured you would enjoy the stories. When I am writing, I will be writing in yellow text. Most of the time it will be some sort of conversation among us. But sometimes it is just stuff he says out of the blue. For example when we were driving past Busch Stadium and Josiah said "That is Fred Bird's House". How did he know that? He has only been a Busch Stadium one time and that was a year ago.
Yesterday when we were getting in the van to go to church we noticed our neighbors were sitting out on their front porch. Josiah said, "There is Dave and Mary" I said, "yeah what do you think they are doing?" He said, "Blowing Bubbles". Of course, that is what Josiah does when he sits outside.
He also loves to make his food into letters or different items. Yesterday he kept messing with his curly fries into "S's, O's, and rainbows". And just now he ate a pretzel until it looked like an umbrella.
Brad and I are constantly amazed at things he remembers. I am not sure if that is good thing or not. He remembers how to get to certain places. He remembers stores we have only been to one time.
He also picks up on things we say to him like "I don't think so", "What did you say?", and "That is really cute."
I hope you enjoy reading about Josiah from Josiah and from me. He is truly a joy to us.
